Share Six: June 2026: Landscapes

For Share Six this month we chose the theme {Landscapes}. I have found with traveling that you take a bunch of photos in camera raw, and then when you get home you start editing. Work happens, life happens, the babies are around and before you know it you are traveling again and you have another whole bunch of photos to edit.

This is exactly what happened with the Australia pics. We could not have done as much as we did without Kevin and Jenny taking us along this route. She has been waiting for these images for a while.

One of the most stunning parts of our trip was to travel The Great Ocean Road. Of course, like most trips I checked out places of interest and found so many. The trip took us 3 days there and then one fast trip home and there was so much to see along the way that I have yet to highlight but stopping at he 12 Apostles and then every other look out point along the way that I had highlighted that I wanted to see was just amazing. The coastline is stunning and the outcrops are incredible and I know that I definitely want to do this road again. Possibly at an even slower pace.

We left Melbourne making our way to Lorne, then Cape Otterway. From there it was up to the 12 Apostles (although I think there are only 9 now and then stopping off along the way until we reached the Bay of Martyrs just beyond Peterborough. Looking at my maps I had 12 stopping points. I don’t know if I have names for every image, I will do my best. It’s been 2 years since we were there.

The days were overcast, hazy and at some points raining but it was still one of the best coastlines I have ever experienced.
