Happy New Year – This is the first time we are posting in 2018.  I had a very busy start to the new year, rushing around showing our visitor the sights.  For downtime, while they were all sleeping, I took my macro lens and headed off to the wetlands.  I just wanted to do some walking and see how much I could manage.  Walking is slow.  My feet still hurt but I did manage to get all the way around the wetland – about 1.5 miles.

The wetlands are rather quiet and the macro is useless for bird photography so I played with light and tried to see what I would come up with.
