Share Six: February 2026: Low Light

Well that is the first month of the year done and dusted and I am still not sure what happened to it. It’s been a tough start to the new year and a couple of weeks were made up of sleepless nights and I have had to do some re-evaluations and look at what is needed and what is wanted and tried to find the middle road of what next. One day at a time is what I firmly believe is what we can do.

Which means I have not done a lot of getting out and taking photographs. However, I have pulled together a few of my favorites that are (Low Light)

Inside the Seattle Library – at the gift shop
Taken at an outdoor fair in a shady walk way.
I was standing the foyer of the church that I attend, and looked up.
This is one of my favorites of Luka watching his ipad when he was much smaller. Now it is the tv or we read books.
An overcast evening outside.
I love playing with books and focus and this was one of the fun experiments that I played with.
If I recall correctly this was taken in a music museum in Nashville. The light inside was awful and the best I could get with this image was black and white.
Walking around Gainsville I came across this bicycle that had obviously been around for a while. So much so that the Spanish Moss was growing over it.
Another low light book experiment
One of my favorite walking spots. This particular part of the walkway is very shady and so the low light here worked for me.

Sometimes life throws you curveballs you were not expecting and my faith aside, the ability to create art when there is challenges, is a gift I am thankful for. This group of bloggers is another gift that I am thankful for.

Thank you for joining us on this photography loop. This is a circle blog and as I mentioned, we have some very talented artists in the group. They bring such diversity to the different topics. Take some time to follow the links and see what they have for you this month. My talented friend Jan of @wiredtothemoon_ is up next. I look forward to seeing what she has to share.

Until next time..

Stay well
