Share Six: December 2025: Free Choice

The last two months have been the contributors choice. Everyone is so busy now. There is a lot of Christmas Photoshoots going on, mini’s and for me I have done back to back traveling. We did the trip to the Southern States, through Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia. We were only home for 2 weeks and the second week was packing to head out on a Thanksgiving cruise to Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. I feel whiplashed. I have 3 weeks of work and then I am off the last 2 weeks of the year again. I will need to plan it better in the coming year. Bucket list dream Ireland, and Richard would like to tag on Iceland to the trip. Still thinking that one through.

However, I am now sitting with a bunch of photo’s to edit and not sure what I want to do this month. After downloading my images I decided to edit the Pumpkin Patch photos . Each year I have gone to a local church with Luka and taken his photo. Its been interesting to see the change in him over the years. This is the first year with Ella. Weather was overcast and we managed to catch a short break in the rain.

Luka has got this smile recently. It says cheese and stop taking my photo.

This is often our sweet boy, pensive and waiting to see what is going to happen.

But I love it when he lets go a little and has a whole lot of fun

Ella is new to outdoor photography and she still needs help sitting up so I had to creatively remove hands that are holding her. She’s a really serious baby until she smiles.

And when she does smile her whole face lights up. I love it when she smiles at me. We took a while to bond because she was big into stranger danger, but now when I speak to her her smile just grows.

At this point Luka has had enough of the photos and is ready to call it quits.

This photo tells me exactly what he is thinking. I think it is going to be a challenge getting Christmas photo’s this year.

I had to do an arm removal here as well. Like Luka she is not a petite child. She is tall and well built, but in time she will start shooting up like he did. Quite often I look at pics of him and I can see so much of her.

This photo was off but it is one of my favorites. The lighting was too dark and when I lightened it it felt wrong and there is some hand movement, but I loved this pic of him.

He already holds my heart in his hands, and she is well on her way to doing the same. I look forward to having more time with both of them in the coming year.

Thank you for joining us on this photography loop. This is a circle blog and as I mentioned, we have some very talented artists in the group. Take some time to follow the links and see what they have for you this month. My talented friend Lupji of Lupji Photography is up next. I look forward to seeing what he has to share.

I wish you all a festive season with your family and friends. May it be a time of blessing, lots of love, laughter and joy. And if you have littles like we do I hope that they love tearing the wrapping paper off of their presents 🙂

Until next time..

Stay well
